Warranty and Repairs Policy

Last Updated : 8 Oct, 2026

Every Gleam Adorn piece comes with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, for as long as you own it.

Our limited lifetime warranty

We make every piece in our own workshop and we stand behind our work. If your jewelry has a fault caused by the way it was made, we will repair it free of charge. If it cannot be repaired, we will replace it with the same or a comparable piece.

The warranty begins on the day your order is delivered. It applies to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. Please keep your order confirmation as proof of purchase.

What the warranty covers

The warranty covers faults in materials and workmanship, including:

  • Prongs or settings that were not properly secured when the piece was made.
  • Small accent diamonds that come loose or fall out because of a setting fault.
  • Cracks or breaks in the metal caused by a casting or soldering fault.
  • Metal that does not match the purity stated on your order.

Free care for as long as you own it

You can send your Gleam Adorn jewelry to us at any time for:

  • A full inspection of the settings and prongs.
  • Professional cleaning and polishing.
  • Tightening of loose prongs.

These services are free. You pay only the shipping, as explained under "Shipping for warranty and repair service" below. We recommend an inspection once a year for pieces worn every day.

What the warranty does not cover

Fine jewelry is delicate and shows signs of wear over time. The warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear: scratches, dents, thinning of the band, and prongs worn down by daily use.
  • Fading of white gold plating: white gold is finished with rhodium, which wears off naturally with use. Re-plating is available as a paid service.
  • Accidental damage: bending, crushing, chipping or breaking caused by impact, pressure or misuse.
  • Loss of the center diamond: we do not replace a lost center stone unless our inspection shows it was lost because of a manufacturing fault.
  • Loss or theft of the jewelry.
  • Chemical or heat damage: contact with chlorine, bleach, cleaning products, cosmetics or extreme heat.
  • Work done by another jeweler.

We strongly recommend insuring your jewelry against loss, theft and accidental damage.

What ends the warranty

The warranty ends if the piece is repaired, resized, polished, re-plated or altered in any way by anyone other than Gleam Adorn. Please contact us first, even for a small repair.

Ring resizing

We offer one free resizing within 1 year of delivery. Further resizing, or resizing after the first year, is available as a paid service.

How far a ring can be resized depends on its design. Full eternity bands and some intricate designs cannot be resized. If your ring cannot be resized, we will tell you before you send it and suggest other options.

If your jewelry needs work that the warranty does not cover, we are still happy to help. Paid services include:

  • Repairing accidental damage.
  • Replacing lost or damaged diamonds.
  • Rebuilding worn prongs.
  • Rhodium re-plating for white gold.
  • Resizing outside the free resizing offer.

We inspect the piece first and send you a written quote. No paid work begins until you approve the quote. If you decide not to go ahead, we return the piece to you and you pay only the return shipping.

If a diamond needs to be replaced, we match it as closely as possible to the original in size, color and clarity.

How to request service

Email support@gleamadorn.com with your order number, a short description of the problem, and clear photos or a short video.

We will reply with the next steps and, if the piece needs to come to us, full instructions for sending it safely. Please do not send any jewelry before you hear from us. We cannot be responsible for items sent without our instructions.

Once your piece arrives, we inspect it and confirm by email whether the work is covered by the warranty. Most repairs take 2 to 3 weeks from the day we receive the piece, plus shipping time. We will tell you if your repair needs longer.

Shipping for warranty and repair service

  • Manufacturing defects covered by the warranty: we pay for insured shipping both ways.
  • Free care, free resizing and paid repairs: you pay for insured shipping to us, and we pay for insured shipping back to you.
  • If our inspection finds no manufacturing defect: the shipping costs are yours, and we will offer a paid repair quote where one is possible.

Always send jewelry by an insured, tracked service with a signature on delivery. Jewelry remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights under the law where you live, and nothing in this policy limits them.
