Joncie is an oval halo engagement ring built around a 1.50 carat lab grown oval diamond set in warm yellow gold. The halo is not uniform. It uses graduated round diamonds with four larger stones at the top, bottom, and sides. This gives the ring a soft floral outline and a vintage oval cluster halo look that stands apart from a plain halo.

The center sits on cathedral shoulders that lift it slightly and carry small diamonds part way down the band. The 1.90 mm shank stays slim against the finger. The bottom halo stone extends past the band line, so this design pairs best with a curved or notched wedding band rather than a straight one.

The oval shape has a long axis, and the enlarged top and bottom halo stones extend that length. A useful thing to know is that a graduated halo also makes a center stone read larger than its carat weight suggests. The side stones add width so the oval never looks narrow.
